Their roots run deep, with Matt’s lifelong passion for cattle showing since he was just five years old. Today, working alongside his younger brother, Miles, and their father, Mark, on their sprawling 500-acre beef farm.

But Matt’s commitment to agriculture doesn’t stop there. Matt and family, is deeply ingrained in their community, extending their support to budding talents in 4-H and FFA through Weigel’s Steer Pit, where they raise and sell club calves. It’s not just about business for them; it’s about nurturing the next generation of agricultural leaders.

In 2012, a spark of inspiration ignited in Matt’s mind – the vision of a feed store that would cater to the local farming community in Darlington, Wisconsin. Fueled by his belief in the power of buying local and supporting neighbors, Matt shared his idea with other business owners and in October of 2013, with unwavering determination, the Darlington Feed and Ag Center was born.

In 2022, he took the next step and opened Darlington Feeds LLC at a new spot. Matt is all about supporting our community and sponsoring events. When you buy local, you’re investing in your neighbors, and that’s what we’re all about.
